【新冠肺炎】美國首度發現英國變種病毒確診　20多歲科羅拉多州男中鏢

美國科羅拉多州州長波利斯（Jared Polis）29日宣布，一名20多歲的科州男性確診後，發現其病毒為英國的新突變病毒株，是美國已知的第一個「B.1.1.7」確診案例。

新聞稿指出，該男沒有旅遊史，並在科羅拉多州州的艾伯特縣（Elbert County）處於被隔離狀態。目前當地公衛官員進行疫調，希望匡列潛在的接觸者與病患。

《美國有線電視新聞網》（CNN）報導，先前公衛人員就指出，英國病毒早在9月就出現，很有可能在美國已有確診病例。

英國廣播公司（BBC）報導，英國的突變病毒在9月第一次被發現，在11月時倫敦的確診患者有四分之一感染突變病毒，短短一個月後，在12月中上升到接近三分之二。

報導指出，英國的突變病毒感染力比原本的新冠肺炎病毒高出70%，目前尚未有證據指出新病毒更具致命性。

除了英國突變病毒「B.1.1.7」以外，南非也發現傳播力更強的「501.V2」病毒。南非衛生部長姆希齊（Zweli Mkhize）曾表示，有越來越多沒有併發重症的年輕患者染上「501.V2」病毒，可能推波助瀾導致南非的第二波疫情。

英國《衛報》報導，儘管英國和南非新病毒株的變異不盡不同，但兩者皆有被稱為「N501Y」的突變，這可能導致病毒更易於傳播。
