用911恐怖攻擊威脅加拿大　沙國網媒遭關閉帳號

沙烏地阿拉伯1家社群媒體在推特（Twitter）刊登1張照片，遭眾人質疑是在以911恐怖攻擊方式威脅加拿大。事後該單位緊急撤下照片並發布聲明，但仍遭沙烏地阿拉伯政府要求關閉帳號，進行後續相關申訴。

根據《RT電視台》報導，宣傳圖上1架加拿大航空（Air Canada）的飛機開向加拿大國家電視塔（CN Tower），搭配文字「愛多管閒事！」（Sticking one’s nose where it doesn’t belong!）和1句阿拉伯俗語「干預不相關事情的人會遇到不好的事情」（He who interferes with what doesn’t concern him finds what doesn’t please him）。

該組織「@Infographic_KSA」自稱是「對科技和由數字與證據佐證的社群事實感興趣的沙國青年」，主要活躍於社群通訊軟體如推特、Instagram和Telegram。風波引爆後，他們立即撤下原照刊登道歉，表示原意是希望傳達沙烏地阿拉伯大使重回加拿大。

加拿大駐利雅德大使館要求沙烏地釋放人權運動人士後，沙烏地阿拉伯以加拿大干預內政為由，宣布召回沙烏地大使並驅逐加拿大大使，同時凍結與加拿大的商業關係。
